The catalog includes a list of 250 types of roses and over 80 other garden plants, including strawberry, raspberry bushes, peonies, lilacs and carnations, which were available for sale through the Armenian merchant Arsène Momdjian from his nurseries in Scutari, located on the Asian shores of Constantinople (Istanbul). The species of rosebushes offered for sale are either local or more often European, with a few originating in the Americas (Baltimore Belle) and in Japan.
