A very attractive, skillfully executed plat map of a property subdivided to create a residential development. Echo Park is in the unincorporated town of Chews Landing in Gloucester Township in Camden County, New Jersey. The property was owned by Richard N. Herring, a former Civil War officer, who held various municipal and state governmental positions in his career. Above the plan is an illustration of Herring’s fine home as well as of a church. An inset map at lower right locates the development in relation to railroad lines and the cities of Gloucester and Camden.
