23 3/8 x 26 1/2 inches. Pen and ink and watercolors on vellum; excellent.
An attractive, signed and dated plan of rural properties in the medieval town of Pembridge (received Royal Charter in 1239) in the present day county of Hereford and Worcester in west England. Both the draughtsman, Ashley, and the surveyor, Harris, are named on the plan. An interesting table at lower right lists 25 distinct parcels of land; their uses and the number and kinds of trees on them are noted.
