A sweeping and quite elegant view of San Francisco Bay, likely produced for decoration rather than as a guide to the city. The view is broad, encompassing Marin County, San Francisco, the East Bay and San Jose. Many key tourist features of the city and region are labeled – Fisherman’s Wharf, Chinatown, and Telegraph Hill, for example. The Summer of Love notwithstanding, Haight-Ashbury is not shown.
