Scarce, majestically engraved English map of Scandinavia. It shows the borders of Sweden, Norway and Russia as of the period of Sweden’s greatest territorial expansion. The finely engraved cartouche depicts the figure of Thor and an armored warrior in Roman battle dress, along with the arms of Sweden, Denmark and Norway.
