An exceptionally fresh, originally-colored example of one of the most richly decorative early map of the Balearic Islands. Ibiza, Majorca and Minorca are all shown off the coast of Valencia and Catalonia. The map is embellished with two fine coats of arms and two compass roses. Three ships are pictured, as are two sea monsters.
