Map & border panels on 14 joined sheets, together 46 ¼ x 55 ½ inches. Fine hand color; expertly conserved & re-mounted on new linen; occasional abrasion with mostly minor losses, one larger loss of @ 1 ¼” in diameter lower right sheet, right sheets with some staining & age darkening, still a good example for a wall map.

Bound in modern mottled calf, gold-tooled raised bands on spine, title in gold on leather label inset in spine; plates on heavy stock, a few stains & some light hand soiling, fleurs-de-lis at corners of frame (sheets 1, 4, 17, 20) abraded, else excellent.
