Attractive early color; centerfold reinforced as usual, else excellent.
A very attractive example in rarely seen early color. Evocative panoramic view of the lower Bavarian city of Passau, which produced swords and bladed weapons renowned throughout Europe at the time of the publication of this view. The striking city resides along three rivers: the Danube, Inn, and Ilz. The view was published in the Nuremberg Chronicle, the first printed work to contain a large number of city views.
