Rare first and evidently sole edition of this posthumously published treatise on proportion by Baldinucci, the 17th-century art historian and theorist who continued, updated and vigorously defended the Vasarian line of the superiority of Romano-Florentine art.

Extremely rare privately printed illustrated pamphlet describing an ivory crucifix attributed to Michelangelo at the time it was in the private chapel of the Neapolitan D. Vincenzo Aulicino at the beginning of the 19th century, containing a full-page engraving of the crucifix by Morghen commissioned by Aulicino for this and related publications (see below).
