An unusually fine copy in a contemporary binding of a rare, early Jesuit Relation from New France, in which Paul Le Jeune reports an important development in the French attempt to civilize the Indians the adoption of a sedentary lifestyle and announces the arrival of Mme. de la Peltrie and Marie de l'Incarnation to found the Ursuline convent at Quebec City.
