Folio. 19th century marbled-papered boards, two scuff marks, sheep backstrip with red and green morocco labels; 68pp, 22 folding and double-page charts, 6 charts in text; numerous coastal recognition views in text; some folding charts reinforced with old paper, occasional staining, chart of Newfoundland more extensively repaired with some losses, Jamaica with poorly aligned reinforcement & cropped side margin; still overall very good.

(4) p.l., 358 pp. (1)ff., (28)ff., 47 pp., (24)ff. & 64 maps; slight worming and faint library stamp to t-p, slight worming to first few leaves, light waterstaining to lower corners of several leaves and few other stains, sewing top of spine weakening; maps mostly with very dark impressions and wide margins; overall near excellent.
